Anonymized Case Study

A prominent Florida roofing organization now runs core operations on OpsRev.

In Florida, roofing is serious business: storms, permitting, compliance, inspections, insurance documentation, material choices, crews, and customers all move at once. This organization needed the operational layer to move faster without adding another back-office bottleneck.

OpsRev now supports the workflows that keep lead response, estimate documentation, repair follow-up, pipeline hygiene, and leadership reporting moving across the business.

Measured Impact

6,631 job records analyzed before and after launch.

The impact report compared a 15-week pre-launch period against the first 6 weeks after OpsRev went live. Speed and conversion metrics use resolved jobs only to avoid time-window bias.

$1.22M

$13.5M

Results are anonymized from an active customer deployment. Average job value and conversion metrics are directional until larger post-launch samples mature.

Operational Lift

The long tail of stalled work disappeared.

The most important shift was not a flashy demo. It was the operating cadence: faster approvals, cleaner documentation, fewer abandoned leads, and better pipeline visibility.

21 -> 6 days
Reroof approval cycle

Median lead-to-approved time on resolved reroof jobs improved 3.5x after OpsRev launch.

31 -> 13 days
Repair approval cycle

Median repair approval time improved 2.4x on resolved jobs.

0
Jobs stalled 30+ days

Post-launch, no resolved reroof or repair jobs exceeded 30 days to approval.

13% -> 57%
Estimate documentation

AccuLynx estimate documentation improved 4.4x as paperwork got completed before jobs advanced.

What OpsRev Runs

Core revenue operations, not a side experiment.

The deployment focused on the operational work that determines whether a roofing business captures demand or lets it stall: lead response, estimate readiness, repair follow-up, data quality, and management visibility.

Lead follow-up and stale-work enforcement

OpsRev watches open roofing and repair leads, flags stalled work, and keeps follow-up moving before opportunities decay.

Estimate documentation in AccuLynx

The teammate prepares and uploads the required estimate documentation so jobs advance with the paperwork the operation needs.

Pipeline cleanup and reporting

Leadership gets a cleaner view of live estimates, in-flight work, won jobs, cancellations, and the real state of the pipeline.

Repair division velocity

Repair intake and approvals increased per week while long-stalled repair jobs disappeared from the post-launch cohort.

Business Results

Faster process, stronger pipeline retention.

Resolved-lead conversion and cancellation rates moved in the right direction while repair throughput increased on a per-week basis.

+16 pts

Reroof conversion rate

Resolved reroof conversion increased from 43% to 59%.

+24 pts

Repair conversion rate

Resolved repair conversion increased from 28% to 52%.

-30 pts

Reroof cancellation rate

Reroof cancellations dropped from 43% to 13%.

-46 pts

Repair cancellation rate

Repair cancellations dropped from 69% to 23%.

+33%/wk

Repair lead intake

Repair lead intake increased from 10.3 to 13.7 per week.

+21%/wk

Repair approvals

Repair approvals increased from 2.8 to 3.4 per week.

How It Worked

OpsRev became the managed operating layer around the existing stack.

The business did not need a rip-and-replace project. It needed the systems it already trusted to move work more consistently.

STEP 01

Connect the systems

OpsRev connected to the operating data where the roofing business already works, including AccuLynx job records, estimates, communication history, and reporting inputs.

STEP 02

Encode the workflow

The teammate learned the approval path, job categories, estimate requirements, follow-up expectations, and exceptions that need a person.

STEP 03

Run with guardrails

OpsRev handled high-volume administrative steps while keeping sensitive decisions, customer-facing outputs, and exceptions inside controlled approval paths.

STEP 04

Report and improve

Performance was measured against the pre-launch baseline, then used to identify where the teammate should tighten follow-up, documentation, and pipeline hygiene next.

Methodology

The numbers came from operating data, not survey sentiment.

The analysis used 6,631 AccuLynx job records, comparing a 15-week pre-launch period to a 6-week post-launch period. Speed metrics were calculated only on jobs that reached a final outcome.

Notes and caveats

  • Lead-to-approved speed is the strongest signal because it uses median time and resolved jobs only.
  • Estimate documentation improved directly because OpsRev builds and uploads the required documentation before jobs advance.
  • Average job value increased directionally, but mix shift may contribute. That result needs a larger mature sample.
  • Cancellation and conversion rates may drift as the in-flight post-launch pipeline reaches final disposition.
